About the role

Works alongside the purchase manager to keep a steady supply of scrap at the right grades and prices. Leads the purchasing officers day to day, reviews offers and steps in for the manager when needed.

What you will do

  • Review and approve purchase offers within agreed limits.
  • Guide the purchasing officers and check their records.
  • Report weekly on volumes, grades and prices bought.

What you will bring

  • Several years of purchasing in metals or recycling
  • Experience guiding a small team
  • Arabic and English
