Purchasing Officer

Buys scrap and supplies at the right grade and price and follows each purchase to the yard. Experienced, Full time, Mina Abdallah Industrial Area, Ahmadi, Kuwait, At the office.

About the role

Sources scrap from contractors, workshops and industrial sellers, and buys the consumables the yard needs. Agrees prices by grade, arranges collection and checks that what arrives matches what was bought.

What you will do

  • Receive offers from sellers and prepare purchase orders.
  • Compare weighed and graded results with the agreed terms.
  • Keep supplier records and price history up to date.

What you will bring

  • Purchasing experience in metals, recycling or industrial supply
  • Good negotiation skills and a firm grasp of grades
  • Arabic and English
