Scrap Sorter and Segregator

Separates mixed loads into clean grades so they can be sold at their true value. Entry level, Full time, Mina Abdallah Industrial Area, Ahmadi, Kuwait, At the yard.

About the role

Sorts mixed scrap by hand and with simple tools, separating steel from non-ferrous metals, cable and contaminants. Clean segregation is what lets each grade be priced correctly, so care matters more than speed.

What you will do

  • Separate ferrous, non-ferrous, cable and waste into their marked bins.
  • Remove plastic, rubber and other contamination from metal.
  • Tell the supervisor about any item that looks hazardous.

What you will bring

  • A good eye for detail and patience with repetitive work
  • Experience sorting metals is an advantage, training is given
  • Willing to wear gloves, boots and eye protection throughout the shift
